Dental Prosthetics — Made in Spandau
Ultrasound Jaw Joint Measurement
A harmonious function of the entire chewing apparatus requires the trouble-free interplay of teeth, jaw joints, and the muscles involved. Through ultrasound analysis of the jaw joints, dental prosthetics can now be "tailor-made" to your individual anatomy rather than based on average values. This is especially advisable for more extensive restorations, and allows our master dental technicians to build this valuable information directly into the prosthesis. The result is optimal chewing function that individually accounts for every component of the chewing system involved. Ultrasound jaw joint measurement is also used successfully in the fabrication of implant-supported prosthetics, partial or full dentures, as well as in orthodontics. This individual measurement is also used for symptoms of unknown origin in the chewing apparatus: as part of a holistic diagnosis, it provides valuable clues about bite posture.
